Compare n' Bet™

About Compare n' Bet

Compare n' Bet is an independent sports betting odds comparison platform built to help bettors find the best available prices across the US sportsbook market. Here's who runs it, why it exists, and how we operate.

Who runs Compare n' Bet

Compare n' Bet is built and operated by DeeDubyah Software LLC, an independent software company registered in the state of Michigan, USA. The company was founded by Dylan Worthington, who serves as Founder, Owner, and CEO. His background is in backend infrastructure, mobile application development, and secure API design, which shaped the technical direction of Compare n' Bet from the start.

Compare n' Bet is a product of that company, not a partnership with any sportsbook or gambling operator. We are not owned, controlled, or financially influenced by any sportsbook, casino, or gambling industry group. Editorial and data decisions are made entirely in-house.

What Compare n' Bet is

Compare n' Bet is an odds comparison tool. We aggregate live betting lines from more than 70 licensed sportsbooks worldwide and display them side by side so users can easily identify which sportsbook offers the best available price on a given bet.

The platform is available in three places:

  • An iOS app, available in the App Store
  • An Android app, available in the Google Play Store
  • The web version you're on now, at comparenbet.org

We support every major league and tour with active betting markets across the world. That includes the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, college football, college basketball, UFC, international soccer (EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League, MLS and more), professional and international baseball (KBO, NPB, CPBL, LMP, LVBP and others), hockey leagues beyond North America, golf (PGA, LPGA, LIV), tennis (ATP, WTA), and more. The region selector controls which sportsbooks you see prices from based on what's legal and available to you.

What Compare n' Bet is not

This is worth being specific about, because it's a common point of confusion:

  • We are not a sportsbook. You cannot place a bet on Compare n' Bet. We do not accept wagers, hold funds, or operate any gambling service. All bets are placed directly with the licensed sportsbook of your choice.
  • We are not a tout or picks service. We do not sell picks. We do not publish predictions. We do not tell you who's going to win. Our guides are educational, our data is informational, and the decision of whether and what to bet is always yours.
  • We are not a licensed gambling operator. Because we do not take bets or hold funds, we are a software tool rather than a licensed operator. Users are responsible for ensuring sports betting is legal in their jurisdiction before using any sportsbook we compare.
  • We are not affiliated with any single sportsbook. We compare all supported books equally, regardless of any commercial relationship.

Why we built it

The core problem Compare n' Bet solves is simple. Most retail sports bettors never compare prices across books. They pick one sportsbook, open it for every bet, and take whatever number that book happens to be posting. Over time, this costs the average bettor somewhere between 2% and 5% of their expected return. Professionals call this lost value "closing line value," and avoiding it is the single biggest edge available to a recreational bettor.

Existing odds comparison tools tended to be incomplete, outdated, or designed around a single operator's interests. We wanted to build something cleaner, faster, and genuinely comprehensive. That meant supporting more sportsbooks, surfacing prices faster, making the interface easy to scan, and backing it all up with educational content that explains what the numbers actually mean.

The guides on this site are part of that mission. Finding the best price only matters if you understand what you're betting on in the first place. So we wrote guides covering every major sport, the main strategy concepts, and the betting math that serious bettors need to know.

Our editorial standards

Every piece of editorial content on Compare n' Bet follows these principles:

  • Accuracy over engagement. Where we have to choose between a cleaner narrative and a correct explanation, we choose the correct explanation.
  • No paid placement in guides. Educational content is written without regard to which sportsbook pays us the most. If a guide says a particular book has the best lines on a market, that's because it's true, not because they paid for the mention.
  • Disclosure of affiliate relationships. Where we earn a commission on sportsbook signups, we make that clear. Our affiliate relationships never influence the odds data we display or the content of our guides.
  • Factual correction. If we get something wrong, we fix it. If readers email us with corrections, we review and update content promptly.
  • No predictions or picks. We will never tell a user who to bet on or how the market will move. That's not our business and we don't pretend to have that kind of edge.

How we're funded

Compare n' Bet is monetized through a combination of affiliate partnerships with licensed sportsbooks and, where permitted, display advertising. When a reader signs up for a sportsbook through a referral link on our site and meets the partner's qualifying activity, we receive a commission. This is how most comparison sites in our category operate.

We want to be upfront about this for a few reasons. First, it's the honest thing to do. Second, it's important to understand that affiliate commissions do not change the odds data we display. Every sportsbook we support is shown with its current prices, whether we have a commercial relationship with them or not. The "best price" highlight on any given bet reflects the real market, not a sponsorship.

For the complete technical breakdown of how we collect odds, determine best prices, select sportsbooks, and handle corrections, see our Methodology page.

Responsible gambling

Sports betting should be entertainment, not a financial strategy. Most people who bet sports lose money over time. That's the structural reality of the industry.

We do everything we can to make that reality visible. Every page on this site links to responsible gambling resources, including the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline (1-800-522-4700). We encourage users to set deposit limits with their sportsbooks, track their bets, and step away if betting stops being fun.

We do not target minors, vulnerable individuals, or anyone who has self-excluded from gambling. We do not glamorize losing bets as "just part of the game." If our site or our content has ever contributed to someone developing an unhealthy relationship with gambling, we consider that a failure of our mission, and we'd rather lose that user than keep them.

For more on this, see our Responsible Gambling guide.
